Looking toward 2022

What do you see as you look toward 2022?

Are you making changes? Big or small?

Are you continuing along the same path you have been on or are you thinking about taking a detour?

What are you envisioning for yourself?

Are you taking up a hobby? Something you used to do as a kid that gave you much joy or something you've always wanted to try.

For me that could be getting reacquainted with writing and painting or learning to do stained glass.

Contemplating the idea of retirement or a career change?

Relocating to a warmer or colder climate that offers you different vistas, experiences and opportunities.

Saving up for something you’ve been wanted for some time - that dream trip, a new car, a course you’re interested in, the latest and greatest gadget that caught your eye, etc.

Maybe you don’t even know and that s ok and much more common than you might think.  Many of us are so neck deep in the day to day of life we find it a challenge to think beyond today.

What I found for myself 5 years ago was I had to give myself permission to be ok with how things were for the time being while carving out the time for me to consider what I “really” wanted.

I had been continuing on the path I started in my early 20’s when I graduated from college and when I paused, I realized that my wants and needs were much different 30 plus years later.  I had to consider my age and stage – a reality check so to speak.

It was with the understanding that I had changed and wanted different things in life that I sought out someone, a coach, who could help me navigate through making the changes in my life that would better fulfill my life.  And through that process I found life coaching which supported all that was important in my life – and continues to be.

A coach, an unbiased partner, can help you if you are feeling stuck, not sure what is ahead for you or having trouble making the first step.
